Denver Health and Hospital Authority Hires Coover-Clark for Renovation and Addition Project

The Denver Health and Hospital Authority (DHHA) recently selected Coover-Clark & Associates of Denver for the renovation of a DHHA building originally constructed and used as a Masonic Temple. The renovation of this 9,200 sf. building will transform the upper level of the existing facility into a modern administrative space housing DHHA’s purchasing and accounts payable operations. Through the addition of docking facilities, the final design will complete the building’s transition from a fraternal lodge to a fully functional office and dock facility. One of the primary objectives of the design process is integrating the new facility into the surrounding neighborhood. Fluid building shapes, a hospitable environment, abundant landscape and energy conscious design principles lay the foundation for DHHA’s campus design standards. Effectively blending the existing structure in with the rest of the campus will be an important part of the project process.
